The basics would be jumper cables, tire chains in winter, a screwdriver and adjustable wrench, and flares. Any other suggestions? a blanket..salt or sand…snacks for you if stuck…..extra oil…gallon of water.. battery powered radio…tracfone or other prepaid cell phone..
